1962 Bo Belinsky No-Hitter Game Used Baseball. "If I'd known I was gonna pitch a no-hitter today, I would have gotten a haircut," quipped Belinsky after his May 5, 1962 gem. Remembered as much for his world class harem of Hollywood starlets as for his mound mastery, Belinsky continues to draw attention a half century after he lowered the batting average of the entire Baltimore club. The presented OAL (Cronin) ball is the only known survivor from the contest, and is inscribed in 8/10 black ink, "No hitter against the Orioles May 5th, 62, Bo Belinsky." Writing is enhanced throughout. This would proved to be the first of eight no-hitters thrown by Jewish pitchers in a decade spanning from 1962 to 1971, followed by multiple Koufax masterpieces, two from Ken Holtzman and another from Joe Horlen.
