Description
1987 Dale Earnhardt Winston Championship Ring Prototype & Signed Lithograph. Extraordinarily scarce ring was consigned to Heritage by the Josten's employee who designed it, who assures us that it is one of only two ever produced. Complete with an attractive wood display box, the size 9.75 ring is crafted from 10k gold and features a pink stone at center of the face, embossed with a golden eagle and surrounded by twenty faux diamonds and the words "The Winston, Nascar." Left shank reads "1987, The Winston," while right attributes the ring to "Earnhardt" above the logo of the race. Mint, unworn condition. Included is a Garry Hill artist's proof of the famous last lap move Earnhardt put on Jeff Bodine, who took out leader Bill Elliott to afford Earnhardt the win. It is framed attractively to dimensions of 22x31" and boldly signed by both artist and driver. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
