Artist biography:
Lucille Bernice Hinkle (1895-1985) was an American artist born in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a painter and a teacher who received her education from the University of California and Stanford University. She exhibited in the Los Angeles Public Library and the Southern California of Art Teachers Association. She also held the position of the head of the art department at the Fullerton Jr. College.
