Artist biography:
Born in central Tennessee, Emma Lee Dunlop Moss began painting in the 1950’s, using paints that belonged to her employer’s children.
Her work was exhibited in “Spiritied Journeys: Self-Taught Texas Artists of the Twentieth Century” and is included in Wendy Lavitt’s Animals
in American Folk Art.
Emma Lee Moss is included among a group of recognized American folk artists.
