Item/Description: Exquisite pair of 19th Century Chinese hand- held mirrors. Ornately decorated. Fashioned from Silver with Gilt overlay. Decorated with Cloisone enamel flower and leaf design and inset with white jade nephrite celadon. The larger mirror has a white jade insert carved with a floral design and a smooth curved inset of jade set into the handle. The smaller mirror has a intricately carved jade disc with two dancing figures and what appears to be a dragon face; its handle is set with a translucent pink hued stone. Handles of both have flower engravings to the Silver. Outstanding workmanship and detail. Unmarked.

Condition: Very Good. Enamel is bright and intact, no areas of loss; dark patina to silver. Glass intact. Marking across surface of larger glass.
