GERMAN ROYAL VIENNA PORCELAIN NAPOLEON FRAMED CABINET PLATE, featuring "La dictee d'Austerlitz." hand-brushed to underside, depicting a polychrome hand-painted scene featuring a standing Napoleon dictating orders for the Battle of Austerlitz to a sitting soldier with two onlookers, signed "Wagner" below image, with cobalt border and elaborate raised gilt decoration including "N" to top. Having maroon beehive/shield mark with "Germany" below to back. Housed in a carved giltwood frame with a rust-colored velvet-lined interior. Late 19th/early 20th century. Plate approximately 9 1/8" D, 18 1/2" x 21 5/8" OA.

Plate undamaged; frame having some scattered minor cracks with expected wear. Plate not examined out of frame.
