Description
GERMAN DRESDEN HAND-PAINTED PORCELAIN MILITARY FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, each standing on a square base and dressed in formal military attire with removable swords, comprising a "1th Life Guards", as hand-brushed to underside, and a "Gentleman / at Arms.", as hand-brushed to underside. Each having an underglaze blue intertwined "SP" mark with "Original" above and "Dresden" below. Together with two continental hand-painted porcelain soldiers, possibly Italian, each standing on a square base and wearing formal military attire. Four pieces total. Sachsische Porzellan-Manufaktur Dresden, Germany. 20th century. 12 3/4" HOA.

Dresden figures having swords detached but present; Gentleman at Arms' staff having broken top, but present; figure with bicorn hat having glued chip to front right corner; each with some minor wear to enamel and/or gilt decorations.
