Chinese Qing Dynasty Agarwood Beads Prayer Necklace with Lidded Box. Hand crafmasters carved ChenXiang fragrance wood Chinese prayer-bead bracelet in original pewter covered round trinket box, with five inscription labelled over the cover and red seal stamped below the lettering. Comprised of well-strung round ChenXiang wood beads, divided into two sections by large decorated beads with a larger jade bead, further to a gourd shaped ChenXiang pendants with a pearl bordered toward the end of each knots. The ChenXiang agarwood is rich in color with a continuous smooth texture which is present throughout. Aloes wood, also referred to ChenXiang or agarwood, diffuses a distinctive fragrance and hence it is highly treasured, especially in China and Tibet. Made in The Years Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
