Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Jar. Potted into large jar shape, having thick and tall, globular body heavy on mid, gently tapered on short neck with dome lid finial bud, round mouth lip and raised on flat round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of young child pearling on the field bellow dense tree, flowers bloom and scrolling clouds. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
