Chinese Ming Dynasty Period Blue & white Red glazed Brush Pot. The Porcelain potted in brush pot shape, thick, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, slight shrink on the mid belly, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to wide straight opening lip, raised on flat round foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the blue and dark red fine color, depicted of Flowers bloom interspersed foliage and rocks. The colors are harmonious, balanced, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.
