In the first volume 71 color (heightened with gold and silver) and black and white plates from originals by Benois, Vasnetsov,Lebedev, Makovsky, Repin, Riabushkin and Serov, 3 folding plates by Samokish and Vasilkovsky, in the second volume 57 photographic plates with printed tissue guards depicting members of the Imperial family and distinguished guests, and 18 color plates of titles, coronation menus and invitations; lower outer corner of half title and gutter margin of half title and frontispiece in second volume strengthened with tissue, occasional spots and soiling. Publisher’s green cloth decorated in gold and colors, one silver medallion on each volume depicting Nicholas and Alexandra with a double-headed eagle, edges gilt; head and foot of spines torn. Complete with the folding menu after Vasnetsov's original design.
