Condition
Good structural condition overall with typical scattered shrinkage to joins.
One hoof has become detached from the base but remains in place. The other five hooves remain attached.
Elaborate, crisp carving throughout with a very small loss to a flower within side portion of one swag.
The gilded surfaces exhibit scattered rubbing and typical oxidation. The top of one base with a surface loss (approx. 3" x 5").
A section of the band below the fluting on one example appears to have been tightened up at some point. The hairline cracks (see online photos) and adjacent minor surface losses are probably a result of an old leak from the liner. Liners are present but exhibit general corrosion from use. The top edge of both is dished and may possibly have held a circular piece in place for use as a pedestal/stand.
