Description
This wonderful calvary sword is from Mansfield & Lamb and is dated 1865. Very well marked throughout, US 1865 CEW on one side, manufacturer name on the other. The pommel is impressed with the number 76 along with the tip of the scabbard and the same CEW letters. The grip is wire wrapped leather.

Condition
Appears in excellent condition for age with minor pitting in blade and wear to the leather. Beautiful patina is consistent with age. Â
