Description
Small example of iconic form with a curved back with a very slightly recurved dropped point. The blade of a thin section for slashing distinguishing it from a work knife. 4" total length with whittle tang for embedding in a bone or antler grip. See https://leatherworkingreverend.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/dsc01382.jpg and https://inhabitat.com/melting-glaciers-reveal-items-lost-in-the-stone-age/ for similar examples with original grips. These small knives were carried at all times and it is they that Vikings were buried with. They are slashing weapons made without guards for the clandestine attack.
