Description

4 3/8" diameter. Bun form with broad raised foot and corresponding grip to the top. Near black, brown body color with gilt succulent foliage. All gold decoration is true gold in a lacquer matrix. Produced by the true lacquer (not paint) process which takes weeks of layering and drying. These were used for serving rice and soups. Expected effects of age and use.
