Description
1894 1ed Captain Orsemus Boyd Cavalry Life American Army Texas New Mexico
Orsemus Bronson Boyd was a late 19th-century Captain in the United States Army who entered West Point at the height of the Civil War. While his life has become relatively unknown, his wife wrote a biography of his life and military service which is easily the best work on the life of the former captain.
In this book, Mrs. Boyd describes his expeditions in the American west, particularly serving in Texas and El Paso, Las Cruces, all over California and Nevada, and along the Rio Grande River.
