Description
This is an antique pair of carved wooden effigies, one shown wearing trophy skull necklaces. The Naga, a fierce head hunting tribe were known for their use of trophy heads as part of their shrines and ritual dances. This pair measure 12 inches tall and 9.5 inches tall and were collected in situ by Paul hendricks in India in 1970. Part of the permanent display at the Metamora Museum of Oddities, Metamora Indiana.
