Description
A 19th century Louis XV Neoclassical style biscuit porcelain bronze ormolu mounted lidded garniture urn having classical figural motif and bronze claw foot banded base and band around lid rim. Sold at Christie's sale 1416 "The House Sale" October 5th, 2004, Lot 489.
Condition
Overall good condition having several chips at base of urn where it meets with the socle. The finial is not original. Female figure at top has broken off foot that is missing.
