For your consideration are a pair of stunning Chinese porcelain lamps in the style of Wang Bing Rong. The porcelain bodies of these vases date to the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to the early Republic Period (1912-1949). The porcelain bodies have the most beautiful verdant green ground upon which is laid the finest applied floral and fruit decoration that are 'capped' with an elegant butterfly toward the rim. The coloration of each element is completely complimentary to the next but so slightly a different shade - except for the petals of the lotus flower, peonies and melons that are a pale yellow. The hardware on these lamps, including the ivory-colored catalin plastic finials dates to around the 1930's with the wiring be more contemporary. Then complete, the lamps measure 28" in height with the porcelain section measuring 11 1/4" in height and having a maximum diameter of 3 3/4". Each lamp weighs 3 pounds, 5 ounces.
