Frederic Focht Figural Bronze. The massive deco bronze depicts Prometheus in flight, he is shown bringing fire of Zeus down from Mt. Olympus to give to the mortals. The deco bronze figure has his arms spread out with the flame in his right hand, he his mounted below the torso with the tail end of and aircraft being supported by a kneeling male figure in the base. In the Greek tale, the Titan, Prometheus, was later punished for his deed by being chained to a boulder where everyday a great eagle came to eat his liver. 42.5 in. high x 37 in. wide x 12 in. deep
