Description
GRANT / RAND RIB STAND LAMP, alabaster/clambroth font, starch blue Baroque variant base, brass connector, No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with a T. Hall No. 1 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "PATENTED MAR. 3. 1866 / SEP'T 18TH 1866", top of air distributor with two hinged wires which are attached to the underside base of the coronet and deflector, the mechanism allows the top to hinge back for wick trimming and down for burning, period lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 7 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 3/8" SQ base.

Condition
Excellent condition, font band with two pattern flakes, base undamaged. Burner set-up undamaged, chimney fitter with normal mold roughness.
