Description
BULLSEYE SWIRL STAND LAMP, colorless font, mottled opalescent custard base, brass connector, No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with an E. Bowens No. 1 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E BOWENS PATENT. DEC 10 1861", spring activated sliding mechanism for securing chimney, period lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 10 1/8" H to top of collar, 4 3/4" SQ base.

Condition
Font with a pattern flake, foot with several minute flakes and underside edge with two moderate chips. Burner deflector with a dent, chimney fitter with flake and several short annealing checks.
