PIERCED SHEET IRON AND BLOWN MOLDED LANTERN, bail handle and brass cap, pierced top and bottom with snowflake-type pattern, shouldered cylinder-form fixed colorless globe, removable font with spring mechanism to underside of base, No. 1 inset collar. Fitted with a brass Holmes, Booth & Haydens single tube burner. Third quarter 19th century. 15 1/4" HOA, 11" H to top of cap, 5 1/4" D base.

Provenance: The Phillip M. Sullivan estate collection.

Condition

Very good condition with some moderate denting to cap, base with a small hole at a piercing, globe undamaged. Burner with a separation to ring on wick tube and a split.
