DIETZ NO. 2 "IMPERIAL" SHEET IRON SQUARE TUBULAR LANTERN, original green paint and bail handle, three colorless glass panes including one with a hinged frame, cover marked "DIETZ / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. / NO. 2 IMPERIAL / NEW YORK U.S.A.", reverse with two mounting brackets, interior fitted with a silvered reflector and a removable square-form font. Fitted with a Dietz Pioneer burner with extended thumbwheel which is operable to the exterior of the door. First quarter 20th century. 21 1/4" H to top of cover, 9 1/2" x 10 1/4".

Very good condition with minor losses to paint, minor exterior corrosion, one reflector bracket detached, font and burner with moderate rust.
