Description
Clock with a High Wheel cyclist dressed as a Bicycle Club member. About 15-1/2” high x 8-1/2” wide x 5-1/2” deep. Dial reads in Roman Numerals and is 3-7/8” diameter. Key wind clockwork mechanism with key included. Mechanism is currently working but sold “as is”. Runs with a Pendulum (included). At the top of the dial is a regulating adjustment for “S” or “F” controlling the time for slower or faster. Country of origin not identified but appears to be an American movement. Bought in USA. Clock produced circa 1880s. High Wheel cyclist on plinth produced circa 1880s to early 20th century. Possibly a trophy top. Multi colored stone body has a repaired crack at the top right rear corner. Good overall.
