Description
Circa 1810, probably made in Boston, having a well carved full body turned head spread wing eagle in black at top, perched on a leafy pedestal, chain with spaced gilt sphered draped from the eagle's beak to the leafy brackets supporting scrolled candle brackets, the frame itself a molded deep cove with spaced spheres, having a lappet edging, a leafy bracket at bottom, 41" x 25" x 8".
