Description
Hackensack, New Jersey, Bergen County, painted two-part wall cupboard, ca. 1830, the upper section with a reeded and molded cornice above two glazed doors flanked by reeded stiles, resting on a base with a long drawer and two candle drawers, above two raised panel doors, flanked by molded stiles supported by delicate bracket feet, retaining its original faux tiger and bird's-eye maple grain decorated surface and brass pulls, 84'' h., 50'' w., 18'' d. Provenance: John Garrison; Yonder Hill Dwellers, Palisades, New York, 1987.
Condition
Two screw holes to one side just below cornice where hanger had been attached. Period glass. Original pulls. Overall excellent untouched condition.
