Albert Schultz (FRANCE, 1871) bronze Patinated bronze figure depicting a tired peasant woman resting on her pitchfork as she wipes her forehead. Signed ALBERT SCHULTZ to base. Measures 7 3/4" height (19.6cm). Total weight of 3996 grams. About the artist: Albert Schultz was born in Strazbourgh April 15 1871, he studied under W. von Rumann, and worked as a decorative scu in Alsace-Lorraine, sculpture numerous statues and several war memorials, he also famously sculptured the Gallic Cock on the Kehl Bridge.
