Description

This Limited Edition Polychromed Bronze Sculpture #5/100 measures 14” H x 24” W x 17” D and is titled, “Steer Jerker”. The bronze is inscribed on middle back J. Contway © 97, # 5-100. The artist is J. Contway (b 1935). This well executed multicolor polychromed colored bronze statue depicts a cowboy in full western attire lassoing a steer by it horns. The steer is multicolor white and brown electroplate and the cowboy in white, black, brown and gold hand coloring. The piece is mounted on 1 ½” beveled oak base with attached brass name plate. The bronze is in excellent condition.
