Exceptional, Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, DaoGuang famille rose BaJiXiang and gilt motif porcelain bowls. The finest porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the famille rose design color, depicted of floral and BaJiXiang symbols inside ruyi shaped cartouches, carp, Chinese ornament, enclosed with repeating ruyi taotie mask on the upper mouth and the lower belly. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The colors are harmonious, balanced, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, and the glaze. Without overlap the outlines of the design, clear, subtle, distinct, and the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on base, a six under glazed blue seal script Zhuanshu characters reign mark, Made In The Years DaoGuang Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
