"Drawing Hands" by Maurits Cornelis Escher, [signed in plate in the lower right corner, comes in a black plastic glass frame. The print is copyrighted and published by the M.C. Escher Company, Baarn, Netherlands, 1990s. The copyright imprint of M. C. Escher Company is on the bottom edge of the blank margin.
The drawing is 9.1/8" x 7.3/4" [23.2cm x 19.7cm]; the entire including blank margins is 14" x 11"; [35.5cm x 28cm]; the same size as glass frame, a little wear, very good condition.
"Drawing Hands" a lithograph by the Dutch artist M. C. Escher, first printed in January 1948. It depicts a sheet of paper, out of which two hands rise, in the paradoxical act of drawing one another into existence. This is one of the most obvious examples of Escher's common use of paradox.
