Petite Edwardian Tiger Cherry, Polychromed and Rosewood Banded Desk, ca. 1900, in two parts with the upper section having a central arched hooded cavity with mirror back and drawer below and flanked by side cabinets, the base with a curved drawer and raised on tall slender square tapered legs ending in spade feet, h. 45", w. 30", d. 17".
In good overall condition. Minor age cracks to the outer veneer of the dome top along its lower edges. Small professional pieced in veneer repairs to the edges. No sign of loose veneer or losses. Slight imperfections to the front deck from age & use. No breaks. Sturdy. Very good color and patina. The painted decoration are well done and in tact.
