Description
Three late 19th century hand-colored Engravings on laid paper after Tycho Brahe (Danish, 1546-1601). Depict Astronomical instruments from Atlas Maior, 1662, titled "Armillae Aequatoriae", "Armillae Aequatoriae Maximae" and "Quadrans Magnus Chalibeus". Some rippling and small wrinkles to paper, not examined out of frames. Image 10 3/4 x 16" high, matted in Gilt wood frames with wear and loss to beaded detail, 17 3/4 x 21 3/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300
