Two Chinese Lilac Ground Silk Embroidered Apron Skirts. The first is a pleated skirt, woven and embroidered in Peking knot in a greenish-blue tone with large peonies, and the shaped side panels are finely embroidered to depict peacocks and exotic birds amongst flowers; the second skirt, of finely embroidered floral panels, lined with blue silk. {Length: 39 1/2 inches (99.7 cm)}.
