Set of three vintage Hawaiian "hula girl" nodders, with a spring mechanism that gives them a dancing motion—a design that led to the ubiquitous dashboard figurines and "bobblehead" phenomenon. Marked "Made in Japan," with "Aloha" on front of bases, and with skirts possibly made of a real grass or a soft chenille-like material. You can almost hear their inviting ukulele song.

Dimensions range from 8 in h x 3 in w x 2.25 in d to 7 in h x 2.75 in w x 1.5 in d. Condition is very good, with some slight signs of wear consistent with age. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
