Lot of 3 Family Reading Sample Books,Alaska,War,History. This is a great lot of 3 vintage books. One covers the history of Alaska "In Richest Alaska," published by The Dominion Company Chicago, copyright 1897, another is "A New History of the United States" made for, "Instruction and Entertainment in American Homes," published by the International Publishing Company. There is no publishing date but it is noted as "Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1898..." The third book is, "Thrilling Stories of the War by Returned Heroes," published by Standard Publishing Co. Philadelphia, no date. This book includes a shorter version in Swedish in the very back. All books include the spine of the books to be sold, along with a few lined notebook pages at the very end for taking orders. They all contain great illustrations throughout the books. Would be an interesting account on past historical depictions.


Dimensions of the smallest book are 8.25 in h x 5.5 in w x .5 in d and the dimensions of the largest book are 10.25 in h x 7.5 in w x .75 in d. Condition is good. There is some wear and discoloration to covers. There is some browning on paper. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
