List of three books. First copy, first edition of Speedboat Kings, by J. Lee Barrett. Book is signed by author to Wood's wife "To my good friend Mrs. Gar Wood -J. Lee Barrett," and also by Gar Wood himself, "To bum with my many memories of the past -Gar." A note on the title page reads "For dear Gar Jr, who was my side kick on the side lines while these stirring things happened -Mums." Book itself is in good condition, though dust cover is tattered. Also included is an additional copy of Speedboat Kings, and a copy of Gar Wood Boats: Classics of a Golden Era, by Anthony S. Mollica Jr, signed by the author, and in excellent condition.
