Partial suit of Japanese armor, ex-Christie's, Edo period (18th c.), the Do Maru constructed of leather Hon Kozane lacquered black, with stenciled designs, embroidered textile, gilt copper, metal fittings, animal fur boots, lacking the helmet, arm and thigh coverings and possibly other components (see photos), with one wood and iron storage box with family crest, 20"h x 18"squ
