Description
A pair of Chinese celadon vases dating from the 19th century. The vases have bulbous mouths with tall, pierced feet. The neck of each vase is flanked by bird-shaped handles. The bodies feature low relief carvings of lotus tracery on the shoulder, phoenixes on the lower body, and lotus petals around the foot.
Dimensions are: 10 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches wide, 25.4 cm X 12.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in overall good condition. One vase has a firing crack to the interior of the mouth and firing imperfections to the lower body. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
