Description
A group of 12 Chinese porcelain scholars items dating between the 18th and 19th centuries. The group includes 1 brush washer, 3 water coupes, 2 divided trays, 1 small dish, and 2 miniature vases.
Dimensions are: the largest vase measures 3 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 7.62 cm X 5.08 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: 6 are in overall good condition, 1 of the water coupes is missing a leg, 1 vase is chipped at the rim, 1 vase has significant chipping throughout, 1 of the divided trays is chipped at the rim, and 2 water coupes have large glaze defects to the rims. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. Provenance: From the private, premier collection of a gentleman in Cleveland, Ohio. The items in the collection were acquired starting in the 1970s from auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams, as well as from various private collections in the United States.
