Description
A group of 19 Chinese miniature vases dating from the 19th to the early 20th century. Included in this group are 3 pairs of matching vases, lidded ginger jars, carved rouleau, meiping, and zun vases.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 7.62 cm X 4.45 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Of the vases, 14 are in overall good condition. The pair of turquoise famille rose vases have repaired breaks to the necks and one has a chip to the rim. The square turquoise ground has a chip to the rim, the yellow ginger jar has chips to the lid, and the coral ground vase has a crack to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece after its initial manufacture as diligently as possible; however, as stated in our terms, condition reports are statements of opinion and not representations or warranties. Provenance: From the private, premier collection of a gentleman in Cleveland, Ohio. The items in the collection were acquired starting in the 1970s from auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams, as well as from various private collections in the United States.
