1870-1945 KPM PORCELAIN COVERED URN
ovoid form, with two handles terminating from acanthus leaves, with a gadrooned motif, the cover with a pomegranate finial, the body featuring two scenes one of a bouquet the other a courting scene each accented by gilt circular frames against a dark blue ground, the lower stem with a curling snake and acanthus leaves, on circular pedestal base, marked with KPM orb in black underglaze with factory sceptre in blue underglaze all under base; height including cover: 50 cm (19 3/4 in.), height without cover: 41 cm (16 1/8 in.)
CONDITION
The porcelain urn appears in good condition. Minor rubbing visible to the gilt accents. Not inspected under UV light.
