This is a charming and very early Ideal Flossie Doll.
She is a large Flossie version: 23". That makes it quite rare.
She has a composition head and arms and cloth body. She is Mama doll.
This doll has a beautiful face with flirty (move side to side) brown eyes that open and close and painted eyelashes brows.
Back of the neck is marked "IDEAL" inside a diamond with U S OF A on each corner of the diamond
Her Mama box is visible on the back. It makes short, meowing sound when you flip the doll
She has an old wig, under it she has molded hair. Her wig looks very old, possible it is original
The outfit appears to be quite old, could be original, as well as her shoes. One of the shoes shows more wear.
The doll is in overall good antique condition.
The body would benefit from some cleaning. Her clothes look very fragile
There are some scratches on her face and some peels on the paint.
Simply gorgeous!
