Richly embroidered textile baby carrier with large center panel; dense embroidery, some over core threads of hemp, ramie, and horsehair, foil couching and sequins on center panel, flap and straps. Silk satin, cotton, silk thread, foil, sequins; embroidery, foil couching, ribbon applique. Size: 40'' x 70'', 102 x 178 cm (including ties). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
