Ayizan is the first Mambo high priestess in the Vodou religion. She protects the market place (and public spaces) and is counterpart/wife of Loa Papa Loko.

Flags and banners known as "Drapo" or "Drapeau" are an art long associated with Haitian Vodou (formerly spelled Voodoo in English). Vodou Drapo are traditionally specific to a particular lwa (spirit). Some contemporary "Drapo" create narrative scenes, while others reference current or historical events.
