Comprising a table-mirror with easel-back; four silver-mounted perfume and cosmetic bottles with pull-off covers and internal glass stoppers; four silver-mounted glass cosmetic jars; two hair-brushes; two clothes brushes; a hand mirror; a pair of small boudoir candlesticks; a shoe horn, a nail file, a glove stretcher and an oval tray; the silver handles or lid of each item with Neo-Classical ribbon-tied reeded border and with the Grand Duchess Imperial cypher surmounted by the Imperial crown, all fitted brass-bound stained oak traveling case, the interior with an engraved silver label reading GUSTAVE KELLER FABRICANT FOURNISSEUR BREVETE DE S.M. LA REINE D'ESPAGNE 22 RUE JOUBERT PARIS, the lid centered with a shaped silver plaque centered with the finely engraved Imperial cypher of the Grand Duchess. The case measuring 8 5/8 in. h x 24 in. w x 17 in. d (21.2 x 61 x 43.2 cm). Provenance: Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, Princess Nicholas of Greece (1882-1957, daughter of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich and Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia, niece of Emperor Alexander III and Empress Maria Feodorovna, and mother of Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent).
