This lithograph was acquired from a curator and gallery owner from Los Angeles with a collection of artworks ranging from Barry McGee to Picasso. Dimensions: 37h x 30w (framed). In excellent vintage condition. Ramon Santiago (1943- 2001) served with the United States Marine Corps from 1965-68 and after his discharge from the service, Santiago's professional art career began. Santiago's signature artworks have a figurative style and dramatic fantasy. His subject often includes elegant portrayals of beautiful women, odd human-like creatures, symbolism, color, and recurrent themes create his haunting and enigmatic images. Influenced by Chagall, Dali, Picasso, Pascin and Modigliani, Santiago prefers to work in mixed media and oil on canvas.
