Twelve French Silver Service Plates
ca. 1900, by Gustave Keller, Paris, First Standard (.950) silver, each of quarter-lobed circular form, the rim with incised, threaded laurel-scroll panels, the reeded edge quartered by acanthus leaves, monogrammed on the rim "MBS" (conjoined).

Condition
In overall good condition. One plate has two small pinpoint dents about 1/2" apart near the center. Some light scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use. Each piece marked (on the underside) with the French first standard "Mercury's Head" export mark and the maker's mark of G. Keller, additionally marked "G. Keller / Paris". An attractive set.
