Four German Silver Figural Candlesticks
ca. 1900, probably Wolf & Knell, Hanau, .800 silver, each with a figural standard representing a Roman deity - Bacchus, Hercules, Flora and Juno - above a waisted and molded base decorated with embossed mascarons, flowers and human figures, and surmounted by a tapered nozzle with relief cartouches of additional deities separated by ram's heads, presented on a circular marble base.
