Northern Plains Beaded Knife Sheath, c. 1870s, with rawhide liner, beaded on one side, with elongated red hourglass elements, and triangular devices, on a blue ground, above the tin cone danglers, the back with a two-color bead track patterns, with two sets of tin cone danglers, with knife marked "Nicols Bros warrented tool steel Greenfield, Mass," (minor bead loss), lg. 9 1/2 in.
